Our 7 Day Iceland Trip with the WHOLE family!

Jökulsárlón Glacier with the family, Kera's Mum and Brother joined too!
Jökulsárlón Glacier with the family, Kera's Mum and Brother joined too!

I’d visited Iceland several times before, so I already knew the places that truly take your breath away, the stops that are worth it, and the ones you can skip. This time felt different though, I wanted to experience it again, but with the people who mean the most to me.

So we planned a trip for all of us: my partner, our two boys, my mum, and my brother. A proper family adventure.

Planning a journey for multiple generations isn’t simple. It needed to be exciting but realistic, adventurous but manageable, and structured enough that we weren’t constantly figuring things out on the go. Every route, stop, and drive was carefully mapped out beforehand, scenic viewpoints, food stops, places for the kids to stretch their legs, and the iconic locations that really live up to the hype.

The result was a 7 day trip that felt smooth, memorable, and genuinely special for everyone.

Standing together at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, surrounded by drifting icebergs, was one of those moments that reminds you why travel matters. Not just the places you see, but who you experience them with.

This trip became the blueprint for how we now plan every route we share.

Real journeys. Carefully planned.Designed for families who want incredible experiences without the overwhelm.
